Programme profile


The attractiveness of the global business engineer rests on a unique blend of science & technology, economics & international marketing combined with languages & culture. Engineering courses account for about two-thirds of the study programme. Business and language courses make up the last third of the programme.

As a graduate, you can look forward to excellent employment prospects worldwide. You are likely to find job opportunities within design and implementation of technical solutions as well as within marketing and sales. Typically, you may work as a project manager, a consulting engineer or as an export or sales manager.

Programme content


Years 1 & 2: Mathematics and physics; Applied engineering [including basic mechanical technology, technical documentation, energy and environment, design and construction, IT and electronics]; International Marketing and Business Economics; Foreign Language.

Year 3: Semester Abroad; Advanced Applied Engineering [within the fields of mechanical engineering and IT]; Business [including personal sales, e-business, international business marketing, macro economics and financial management; Foreign Language

Year 4 & 4.5: Work Placement [outside Denmark]; Management and Strategy; Foreign Language; Intercultural Communication. You will shape your own study profile through elective courses within the fields of, for instance, IT or Mechanical Engineering.
